About Lake Highlands Car Wash

Lake Highlands Car Wash (formally JC’s Car Wash) in August of 2019. LHCW was closed briefly while they renovated the interior and exterior of the car wash - adding a new roof, addressing the HVAC systems, new windows, new floors and paint.

Also while LHCW was closed, they added new equipment and technology to improve the customer experience and wait times.

Located at 9715 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75238, Lake Highlands Car Wash operates as a car wash serving Dallas in Texas. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as car detailing service, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

In Dallas, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Texas, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–6 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Lake Highlands Car Wash at (972) 707-0949; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is lakehighlandscarwash.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Its Google rating is 3.7 out of 5 from 219 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

Dallas is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Dallas follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

There’s no reason to pile on, the reviews speak for themselves, and I can attest that they are not very good at cleaning cars. However, they could be, if a few things would change. The first thing that would have to change is the owners would actually have to start caring and provide some sort of management and training and a process for the workers to follow so that they could create consistency in what is and is not being cleaned. And the second thing would be that someone would have to be in charge of making sure that the cleaners are not only following the cleaning process, but ensuring quality work is being done consistently. I have probably washed my cars there 100 times and I will keep doing it because it is convenient to drop the car off and then head across the street for a taco, the biggest inconvenience Is that every time I come back to pick up my car there is a significant portion of my car that is not clean and I either decide to drive off and go home or it is so egregious that I have to ask them to go ahead and clean the things that I point out and wait another 10 or 15 minutes. At least the staff that stayed are polite, that hasn’t always been the case.

Terrible, I paid for the Luxury service and they simply washed the outside. They did not wipe down the inside as well as curbed my bumper with scratches. I tried to talk to anyone on site, and neither did the outside dudes could offer to help, nor did the guy who took my order closed the inside office door as I walked in. While onsite, in the office space area, I tried calling 3 times for anyone to answer, and they simply refused to answer the phone. Terrible experience.

Tried this place with my parents car. Got the $41 premium wash with dashboard treatment. Car was washed, but the dashboard was barely touched - the interior service was basically worthless. They left fingerprints on the edges of all the doors - highlighted by the glossy wash that had just been completed. The dashboard still had dust across it that clearly hadn't seen even an attempt at wiping clean. They offered to correct the issues, but I declined - the outside wash is OK, but I left disappointed and don't intend to return.

If you are looking for a "better than nothing" carwash.....this is your place. My 4th time going in 2 years and I have really tried-- hoping this place would get better but they just are not able to. I bought the Special wash, $26, and left a 20% tip when I checked out. So $30+. The outside was cleaned beautifully, the tire and bumper treatment was perfect! The vacuuming was above average but when it came to the treating/cleaning of the console and dashboard it was horrible. I was fuming as I was driving home. There were 4 more cars behind me and I knew if I went back around , that I would have to wait another 15-20 minutes. I was already there 35 minutes. PIctures attached. I finished cleaning it myself at home, that took 20 minutes. The carwash was better than nothing.

Very disappointed in what used to be the β€œGo To” neighborhood car wash. I paid for a Luxury Wash in hopes that I would come back to a clean vehicle inside and out. This is the third time I have left utterly disappointment. Many steps missed. I think 20+ years of business has finally come to an end. I have pictured what $49 will get you at Lakehighlands Car wash RESPONSE: Thank you for responding. Unfortunately, I completely disagree with the way you responded. I paid $49 for a professional service. As a consumer, I should not have to point out the obvious details that were missed with your service. I own a small business my self and would never expect my clients to tell my employees how to do their job. Hints, utilizing a professional service for my needs vs just doing it myself. This is a training and staff management issue that needs to be addressed. I hope the best for you all
